All black, slender, yellow eyes. Is very skittish outside and has never been outside alone before. He is just under 2 years old.

Bean is my 12 year old son's cat and they are absolute besties, thick as thieves. While of course our entire family is devastated, my son is particularly crushed and is currently grieving the loss of his cat child so deeply that he is practically despondent. If you could please reunite them and make our family whole again. He was not wearing a collar as he always figured out how to get them off, and is not yet chipped. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He is also an absolute love bug and the most chill cat I've ever encountered. Thanks for any help you may be!
