Update, I met up with the finder and picked up the dog this morning. Went and had her scanned at VCA Los Altos, and she was chipped with a working phone number on file. The owner called me within 10 minutes and will be reuniting with her fur baby named Baby this afternoon.

If you find a dog PLEASE...... Keep it secure indoors and contact the shelter as soon as possible, to let them know you have the dog… That is the ONE place EVERY owner that cares looks, while many are not on social media or assume the worst. Also any Vet will check the dog for a chip for free.
