Message from Owner

If you're near Abriendo and 4th street please look under your porch, in your grge, & your back yard. I've been looking every night since. Our cat Cloud misses his sister. She is Spayed, has her city license, microchipped, vaccinated & is around 7-9 pounds. /

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Finding Your Cat: Try leaving dirty socks outside the front door or just inside a cracked garage/shed door if you have one. Sounds crazy but the smell of YOUR socks could help encourage your cat to come back home. Shake food and call for your kitty in the early morning hours after midnight. You won’t have to be too loud (cat ears are incredible), and it can be done intermittently. Always helps to post in multiple local pet pages on Facebook, and to post on Nextdoor dot com to reach direct neighbors. Pawboost dot com offers a service which emails a lost ad to hundreds of people in your area. Petfinder dot com compiles found listings from many shelters & rescues. Check the local humane society in person to see if anyone has brought your cat in. www.HSPPR.org Never give up hope, my neighbor found her cat after 4 months because she posted & shared the lost ad as much as possible. Her neighbors had been caring for her cat and eventually came across one of her posts. Hope you find your fur baby soon 🙏🏼 🐾

Lynn Goodwin check, check, check, & check. Making posters once I have time. Working 12 days straight at the moment, lacking sleep walking around til 2-3am the last 3 nights. Social media is my main resort for now.

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large. Enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor. Com
