Medium/big dog, white and brown fur, has a collar but only a place for the hook (i couldnt see their collar because it was running away)

I saw this dog while walking my dog, it was coming from the Vermont and Washington right by West Adams High school, thats when i first saw it coming. The dog heard us but it decided to cross the street mid cars on the road. I felt so bad and decided to follow it, the dog is still walking till the cemetery at Washington and Normandie. I hope you find your dog whoever owns them.
