This poor baby looks so thin. Thank you for saving its life. You can take it to any Petsmart and Banfield in the back will check for free for a microchip. Please post on all lost pet sites. In addition post on nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch. Not everyone is on Facebook. Please call the Irvine animal shelter and describe the dog and fax a flyer over there. Often an owners will call the shelters to see if anybody has found their dog. You could also post flyers around, saying found dog with this picture. Keep checking pawboost every day to see if the owner posts the picture.

Thank you for helping this fur baby! Here’s some guidance steps of additional things to do: IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Contact Irvine Animal shelter to file a found report (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets. Keep in mind, not everyone is on social media. https://www.cityofirvine.org/irvine-animal-care-center/contact-hours-location • Take the dog to any veterinarian office to get scanned for a microchip, it’s free. • Post the dog on Pawboost.com, local lost/found FB pages and neighborhood apps. such as nextdoor.com and Ring. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home. Please ensure the dog doesn’t escape from you (secure the collar). • If possible, continue to foster the lost dog until an owner can be found and proof provided it’s their pet.
