Joliet, IL Lost Female Cat, Tania Is Missing

It pains me to say this, but Tania was found and she was killed by a car. Joliet Animal Control informed me and I got her body today. Thank you all for your concern and help. That cat was one-of-a-kind. She'll be soarly missed.

Joanne O'Donnell DeFrancesco Slimp Garage won't work, since it's detached. Besides, I accidentally locked her in once. If she's still loose, she'll probably be meowing by my back door or bathroom window. However, I have an awful feeling she was picked up by someone, perhaps thinking she's a homeless stray, but I can leave her water.

Put her litter box outside and keep the garage door open a little for her to come in. She’ll probably wait until it’s quiet outside. 🐾🙏🏻

I don’t think I could find a good pic of Tania, unless someone cited scrolled through the phone. it was enough hassle just getting this far. just hope the one in the car on Marion Street who picked her up can be found, I was outside at the time it happened, but I obviously can’t identify the vehicle. this house sure feels empty with just Eddie and I.
