I shared this to local lost & found pet groups. Here’s a comment… Its a parakeet And you are correct, it won't last in the wild long They aren't used to unlimited freedom and will get exhausted and weak from flying so much. Ive got parakeets and love them but they need to be safe and with other parakeets❤️❤️ Regarding catching him, its pretty easy actually. Get a lightweight towel or t-shirt etc and toss it over him or even a butterfly net or small fishing or pond net. I wish you best of luck to save him. Ive got extra cages/ supplies if you need to borrow them. Will also provide him a home if youd like with my parakeets.
