Report to animal control as LOST and go look for yourself to see if someone turned them in because the stray hold is not for too many days... Put some of your unwashed clothes outside .. POST on the nextdoor app .. Put up flyers in as many locations as possible, Contact vets in the sorrounding areas.. Talk to your mail delivery person and show them a picture

If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere.
