This dog has been hiding in the same wooded area for about 2 weeks now, he is extremely skinny, I brought him food and water for 2 days now, very friendly dog

Could the photo you posted be mirrored/inverted/reversed??? Been missing our baby from Muenster, TX area since July 13th. Someone took him. His name is Petey. He is nuetered and chipped with our information.

Thank you so much. Have you try to take him to a vet or Petsmart to see if he’s chipped? Rescues are full and will take time for them to respond, especially without a foster.
