Found dogs: Get dog to safety if possible, but do not chase skittish dogs. Get pictures . If possible , take to any vet or Petsmart (bansfield) to be scanned for a microchip for free. Make sure they check entire body multiple times as chips can move. Post pics and general location found on PawBoost.com, lostmydoggie.com, and petcolove.org. They have posters to print out, and they cross post on other sites, and to vets and shelters. Put flyers of found dog in the neighborhood if it’s found in one. Sometimes walking them on a leash in the neighborhood leads to owners who are searching.

ask all the kids, post on next door, check the dog for a mcirochip & check the lost & found ads on craigslist
