******UPDATE: Cat/kitten was reunited! Someone commented on my neighborhood Ring forum. They had the same markings in a couple photos and it’s a new kitten for them, she got out yesterday and they had been looking for her. Delivered her back home, safe and sound🐱❤️

Hey there we are Happy to Scan for a Chip and if it doesn’t have one we can hold for the ow er to come claim. We will require that they have vet paperwork because it’s a law they have to be up to date on rabies. Looks well taken care of. Shelter Director

Shari Wallach-Hays I won’t be able to go until Tuesday but the cat came in my house, so I’m gonna see how it acts and if it’s someone’s then I have it in possession, and either tomorrow or Tuesday I will take it to get scanned. It’s too many signs that it’s a pet, a stray wouldn’t act like this cat nor be so clean. It peed in my flower box too like a litter box lol so that doesn’t seem like an outside cat either. I don’t have cats, I was surprised it came up to us in the yard with our dog too. Again super friendly!

FINDER: please join and post on Maury County Lost/ Found Animals and include city, subdivision and major cross streets where found. Any vet will scan for a microchip for free just walk in, tomorrow.
