SEE PICTURE IN COMMENTS..SHE IS MORE FURRY RIGHT NOW. THE Cover PICTURE is not her current look...She is a white Poodle-Westie MIX about 15-20lbs . Please don’t try to catch her as she might run farther away from where she started. Please post all sightings by giving site address or closest cross streets and description

Tippy's Owner Says

Tippy is a survivor! After 5 days of no sightings in the strange neighborhood where she had a seizure and ran off, Turns out she was hunkering down for days in a drainage pipe, likely saving her from another medical issue from days of 95 degree weather and coyotes living in surrounding wooded areas. Turns out she was hiding right across from Groomer’s hse where she originally ran! Jen did put my sweater outside her door, so maybe that helped because Tippy knew nothing of her surroundings. She is 2 days saved and doing very well!! She was traumatized so she slept a hot ton, drank water and had some food. Finally this morning she greeted me like the OG Tippy!🐶💕☀️🐾

Jay Larsen and that is not a verified organization nor one that most of us would advise her to use… She needs to contact Peaceful Souls Animal Rescue and Recovery

Help find your dogs Do: Wait patiently at the scene for as long as possible. Stay put so your dog can come back following your scent. “Let the dog come back to you.” When you must go home, take a dirty sock, t-shirt, or underwear that has been close to your skin and place them outside of your home. This is another scent lure. Set up a “meat trap” using odorous meats. This is done based on investigative work. For example, after a neighbor saw your dog running up a hill, the meat and water would be placed at the foot of the hill. Broadcast that your dog is missing using social media, posters, and word of mouth. Ask people to report sightings rather than attempt to retrieve your dog. She will be frightened and run away again. Use sighting reports to use scent based lures like clothing or food. Leave doors open so that your dog has a way to get inside when they return home. Do Not: Leave the scene and start searching for your dog. You are spreading your scent and making it more difficult for your dog to come back to you. Close up your house so your dog has no way of coming inside when they return. Chase your dog or yell their name. This will only drive them furtherTips to find yourTIPS TO FIND YOUR LOST DOG: 🐾 🐾 ■Post to: Indy Lost Pet Alert, Nextdoor, Petfbi, Lost My Doggie & Petalertusa. *** Remember to check these sites daily for "found" pet posts!! ■Scent is critical in finding your dog - remember to freshen up bedding every couple of days. ■One sign can attract 200 👀 a day. That is such a sad story! The 2nd dog I have seen posted as lost in as many days that got away after a seizure…please make sure her microchip contact information is current with the chip company in case someone finds her and calls them. Also, call vets in the area and make them aware in case someone finds her having another seizure and takes her to a vet. Also, look under decks, porches, bushes and any where she may hide and ask people in the area to do the same. Put up fliers and also notify other groomers in the area. I am so sorry your sweet dog is lost and hope someone kind finds her and gets her home to you safe and soon.
