I raised Lil Bit from a baby now around 10/12 years. Loves sleeping curled up next to me. Very friendly, loves head scratches. Sister is crying for him. I am 82 and miss him, my heart is breaking. He is an inside cat and probably scared, does not know how to survive outside. Call if you see or find him Please Teri

Teri Filer D'Agostino Indoor only cats rarely will show themselves during the daytime & often will not respond to you calling them. So the chances of a neighbor or even you seeing them during the daytime is pretty low. They hide close by, then often return during the night to where they got out of your house, & they try to get back in. If your cat is strictly an indoor cat, then if possible, try leaving the exit point open after dark to see if they will walk back in on their own. Having a camera set up outside the exit point is very helpful to alert you if they’re approaching. If you don’t have a camera at the door she escaped through, I recommend buying one today at Walmart & get it set up before dark. If you can’t leave the exit point open after dark, then you need to set a humane trap outside the exit point & have it ready at dark. Either way, do not go outside once you leave the exit point open or you’ve set a humane trap. Let the camera do the work of alerting you to movement outside that door. Your cat probably won’t approach your house if you’re outside walking around. Secure any other pets in another room if you leave the exit point open. Place some of your worn clothes outside the exit point for scent & just inside the door. Trap & camera are key!!! Our boy was finally trapped after 45days! Seen almost nightly on camera. Local the entire time!! Don’t give up! CHECK GARAGES ETC!!

Hi. I’m sorry your cat is missing. Leave a door cracked enough that your cat can get back in. Especially overnight if your cat is out there and scared, he will likely high during the day and room at night when the neighborhood is quiet and dark. And when your house is quiet and dark. He will sneak back in. He knows where his house is and he is likely not far.
