✅ set up a scent station right away ✅ a dog's sense of smell is exceptionally powerful and can smell their owner's scent from up to 10 mi under ideal conditions ✅ in addition to creating a scent station in the shape of a wagon wheel, place several articles of your worn/dirty clothing out and your slept-on pillowcase up high where the breeze will carry your scent ✅ put something out with her scent like his bedding ✅ leave the gate, door or garage slightly open in case she finds her way home ✅ bring in any food you've left out for her before nightfall. leaving it out will only attract predators
