Put out items with your scent on it, like an item of dirty clothing, towel, blanket, his bed. Leave out a bowl of water/ smelly food (sardines in oil/tuna during the day. If it's an indoor kitty only it will be hiding very close by in fear, either in your yard or neighbors. Call as may times as possible, but night time is best because it's quiet. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds and their security camera recordings in the mid morning hours since frightened cats are more likely to come out when it's quiet. Put up 11x17 poster in neighborhood.
Use a flashlight at night because you will see the reflection of their eyes.
Shake treat bag as often as you can. Put vacuum dust outside since it will contain home scents in it. Post on nextdoor neighborhood app and your local town community page as well.
Check lost animal websites often.
Shared with prayers.
