Lily is very friendly and loves to cuddle. She can be timid and shy with a little anxiety. She loves car rides and laying in the sun. She has 11 missing teeth and a cyst on the top right side of her head. She is a older dog who just loves to sleep and relax

LOST DOG TIPS Typically dogs will return to their lost location (even when in an unfamiliar area), unless their internal radar is disrupted by prey (which includes humans 😞). They will also look for a source of water, so check anywhere there is water (pond, creek, lake, stream). Do all of the following. Get hot, smelly food/water out ASAP. Do you have a Ring doorbell or security camera you can position in front of the food, so you can see if he/she comes to eat it? Put out some of your dirty laundry, such as a pillowcase or sweaty clothes. Post on all Lost & Found Pet groups/pages on Facebook and on Nextdoor, neighborhood/subdivision pages, Ring and ask neighbors to check security camera footage for sightings and to call you. Check your entire property for places he/she could be hiding. Go door to door and ask neighbors to do the same. Let police and animal Control/Shelter know he/she's missing. Go to the shelter in person every day or every other day at a minimum. Get neon posterboard up on all main intersections within two to five miles. Write with black marker: LOST DOG DO NOT CHASE BREED/COLOR PHONE NUMBER Get neon colored flyers with same info above made and flood the area with them (homes, businesses). They're critical in getting a lost pet back!! THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS TOO MANY FLYERS. I can make a flyer for you, so let me know. Make sure that you don't post sightings on social media. You don't want well-meaning people running out to help as he/she will be scared and may run, which could put him/her in danger. Posting a reward can also bring out people who only want the money and if they chase the dog, it could also end up running out of fear and into danger. ** If you (THE OWNER) see your dog, do not scream out to them as they may sense that you're scared and they could run out of fear, which could be dangerous. Sit on the ground or drop to the ground and play dead. Always have some stinky food with you, to help lure them to you. Do not say anything or make quick moves. Your dog needs to see you, hear you, and smell you - before he/she can process who you are and come to you!!! Once they approach, quietly say a phrase they would be familiar with.
