Tammy LostandFound I’m getting a new door because he has popped it open and shred through duct tape when I tried taping it closed. He’s old and needs to stay inside you’re absolutely right

Alicia Lopez thank you! I’ve had him 12 years and we’re constantly fighting about him going outside. I rescued him in Wyoming and hes 14 now. Thank you for loving him! I get so anxious when he leaves

Close the doggy door when he comes home. It’s up to you to keep him inside. I hope he comes back soon.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & Ring Neighbors app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.
