Scottish Terrier Rescue of the Southeast can foster her or him in this area until a rightful owner is found. If no one claims the dog we are happy to take him/her into our rescue program.

If you can’t find his owner, I am a volunteer with the Yorkie Rescue of the Carolinas and we can help! We will get him placed in a foster home on hold for owner. If no owner is found we will get him properly vetted and make sure he’s placed in loving home with responsible owners who are background checked. Thank you for keeping this pet safe and ensuring that anyone who claims to be the owner IS in fact the rightful owner. Getting pet scanned for microchip is free many places, such as your vet’s office, petco, petsmart, animal shelter and many fire stations. Also please contact the local animal shelter and report this pet as found. Pet’s family should call there or go there looking for their fur baby. You can foster the pet at your home, the pet doesn’t have to stay at the shelter but they should know you found him/her. The shelter can also scan for a microchip.
