Message from Owner

This is one of our dogs that has been missing for about 3 days. He has a red collar and is deeply missed by our family. We’re really worried about him and just want him home safe as soon as possible. Any information is appreciated ❤️

Post on NextDoor and neighbors.ring, hang bilingual flyers, and put out articles of unwashed clothing and the pet’s bed. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras, garages, and sheds. Check shelters in person. If not already done, have your pet microchipped as soon as you’re reunited. If already chipped, call the microchip company to report pet lost and make sure your contact information is correct. Report lost on 24petconnect. See if your other dogs can lead you to him. If someone posts “We found” and asks for your phone number, don’t respond; it’s a scam. Same if they want to send you a code. Beware of sites people recommend that find lost pets; many are scammers

Be sure to post him and check through the ring camera app to see if anyone’s cameras have picked him up Also post him on the local neighbors app And if you can get some very large flyers up around your neighborhood And be sure to register with the Miami Dade County animal control

Put signs in front of your house. People find dogs and drive around not knowing who they belong to. Offer reward money moves people. Drive around with squeaky toy dogs know sound of our cars. Check under bushes and small hiding places. Check nearby waterways. Check neighbors cameras look at different angles across the street down the street to see which direction dog went or if someone picked up Edit post to show more information. What city? What community? What are the closest cross streets? What breed? When lost? Put all that information on top. It makes it searchable. If chipped. Contact chip company and make sure they have most updated information. Check shelters in person. Don’t go by website- they get the breed and wrong all the time. Fill out a lost dog form at shelter - or you can fill out form online. Do this right away. That way when dog is found they contact you.
