Message from Owner

Mouse left the tent we sleep in before I woke up this morning somehow and I’ve been looking ever since for her. She’s almost 16 years old. He has a cataract when I so she doesn’t see well. She runs into things and flinches at anything that gets in her eyesight. She can’t even step up a tall curb or she gets stuck behind a small branch cause she’s afraid to go around it or doesn’t know how there’s fields and what area behind me that I have not found her in yet so I’m hoping that she wandered off towards a busier area and somebody’s picked her up and has taken care of her till she can find me. I’ve been her only constant for almost 16 years. She needs me just as much as I need her. I know she’s scared without me. She tires easily and could have just laid down and went to sleep. I just need her back with me. Please call if you find her at

Crystal Ann I could probably use one. It’s not all woods and there’s field and it backs up to peoples properties and back behind Walmart and apartments and most of it says private property no trespassing but I’ve walked what I can anyways and will deal with anyone that confronts me. I haven’t gone to all the doors close by or posted flyers cause I have no way to print anything out anyway to get to the shelter to check for her either. I don’t know if she layed down somewhere tired and I just haven’t came across her or if someone picked her up. I can’t get to every area that’s more dense to see if she’s there. I just don’t know what else to do. But I could probably use help

Amy Stout do you need a search team? I am guessing you searched the woods? And have you reached out to peaceful souls animal rescue? I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I don’t know which wooded area you’re in, but I would suggest checking any nearby bodies of water. Dogs with impairments tend to gravitate towards water when they get disoriented for some reason. It looks like there is a pond right behind Primo South, if you aren’t far from there.
