Description
I found this pup at roughly 2pm on Tuesday, 21 April, dodging traffic near The Cove, located in downtown San Antonio, at 606 W Cypress St, San Antonio, TX 78212. The pup has no microchip and weighs 11 lbs. Per my Veterinarian the pup is most likely 3-5 years old, and is seemingly in good health. The pup was very dirty and immediately given a flea bath. The pup is very friendly and somewhat obedient. The owner will need to identify the of the pup, the color of the collar, and whether or not the pup has been spayed/neutered. I have worked in rescue for many years and am an approved foster for Animal Care Services. I will keep the pup as long as need be. However, if not claimed in 3 days, the pup will be placed in the ACS Diversion Program; remaining with me but then will then be the property of ACS and thus completely adoptable. This will ensure she is tested for heartworm and parasites, and treated if need be. I am in the process of posting every social media "Lost and Found" group in the the San Antonio area. If you should see the pup in any other social media groups, please message me directly AND leave a comment under this post.
