Always best to drop flyers (with photo of cat) through letterboxes around your area asking everyone to open and check their sheds, garages etc., Not everyone is on Facebook so your post will not be seen by everyone. Cats are notoriously nosey and will enter through an open door and get accidentally shut in. Hopefully chip is uptodate. 🤞

Missing cat 1. Contact chip company to make sure details are upto date and record your cat as missing. 2. Go out as it starts to get dark and call. You have to keep calling as the cat will be very frightened and it's going to take it time for the cat to gain enough courage to come out of hiding. 3. Notify local vets with a photo especially if not chipped as they only hold for 7 days then the cat goes up for rehoming. 4. Ask neighbours to check any out buildings shed, garage etc 5. Also ask anyone if they could check doorbell and cctv cameras for you. 6. Empty the contents if your hoover in the garden and hang out and bedding the cat slept on. 7. Put out unwashed laundry. Cats are belived to be able to smell upto 4 miles this could help lead them home if they have wandered further. 8. If not neurted or spayed the cat could be further away due to Tom's fighting for territory or if a tom cat missing they could be seeking out a female in season. If a female not spayed missing again could go further a field as being chased by un neurtered males. 9. Post on all fb social media lost and found groups, missing groups and groups upto 4 miles away from home. 10. Leaflet drop in your road asking for help with out buildings and sightings. 11. Put poster up with area and contact details plus a clear photograph. I really hope your cat returns safely. Please message if you have any questions. Kind regards Michelle.
