Go outside RIGHT NOW with a high powered flashlight and call your cat's name and go all around the block looking under cars and in bushes.. Go door to door and give flyers you can print for free off PAWBOOST and put up all around the neigborhood and surrounding neighborhoods up to 2 miles at street intersections and on lamp posts. Look at ocpetinfo.com daily for new intakes. This is the OC Animal Care in Tustin. If microchipped, contact the company and update and of your information in case he is found and scanned. Contact the OC Animal Care shelter in Tustin and notify them he is missing as well and give your contact info and a color picture of your cat.. GIve neighbors a flyer and ask them to be on the lookout and to check their garages and backyards and bushes in case your cat is hiding there. If by a local park, go there and call out your cat's name and look, always take a flashlight and a big stick in the event a coyote is around and is spotted. Post on all social media lost and found pets websites, Including Nextdoor and HBCommUNITYVoice. Keep looking and don't wait for others to find your cat.

So sorry your kitty is missing 😰 You must actively look for your kitty. Please go out late at night or very early in the morning when there are very few cars and people out. Sit on your front or back stairs, wherever she’s more familiar and talk in a normal conversation voice, think low cell phone conversation. Do this for at least an hour if not longer, morning and night until found. If she likes treats and knows the sound of a treat bag do that also or any sound that she gets excited about. If she’s scared and hiding, this may be the encouragement needed to come out. Cats can hide for days. Also go to catsinthebag.org for many other helpful tips on how to find her. Good luck. General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
