I had this same situation. They were trapped in a neighborhood and far from water. AC and others were of no help. Actually AC came after I got them to water and said, oh well we would just take the ducklings and let them go with another duck and hope they adapt. 😢… It was one heck of a time capturing the chicks but they were all saved and got to watch them waddle and swim in the sunset. If they are from from water than call NDOW. AC will literally take the chicks from the mama duck.

If you find a mama duck and ducklings in Las Vegas, leave them alone and keep a safe distance, as they are likely navigating to water . Do not feed them or pick them up, as this can cause the mother to abandon her young . If they are trapped in a dangerous area, call the Nevada Dept. of Wildlife (NDOW) at (775) 423-3171 or (775) 688-1500
