Rachel Lewis he's probably got the scent of a female so is now at great risk of the roads and getting lost and catching fiv and felv and fip If he does get home please have him neutered and tested for fiv and felv and fip If positive for fiv don't pts it means has a low immune system But HAS to be a housecat or have a catio built around a door or window at the back of your home which won't cost much if diy or buy the materials and get a handyman to do If positive for felv or fip there is treatment but the are expensive for the course but will die a painful death so pts if can't afford to pay Ask postman to look give him your phone number Sprinkle hoover contents on garden put some of your worn unwashed clothes and pet bedding on line outside Ask neighbours to check their gardens well with a torch under cars incl wheel arches and bonnets and in trees and under bushes and decking and sheds and to go into sheds and garages to see if stuck up inside the roof too scared to come down and listen for movement and meow Poster petshops supermarkets and postal sorting offices and around school areas and on dog poo bins and allotments and in vets Inform vets rescues council cleansing dept and rspca and chip company and check details are correct If there are any empty houses up for sale or anyone has recently gone away look through windows and call name through letterbox and listen for movement and meow If there is any building work going on or anyone is having work done speak with them and the builders These are based on where cats have been found When you go looking take a torch do a small area at a time in one direction call name on way back rep diff areas Tap a can or shake a box whichever responds to for food and listen for movement and meow Shine the torch under cars incl wheel arches and bonnets and in trees and under bushes and decking and sheds and upto rooftops and garages and sheds Check cctv and doorbell cameras If anyone in your area feeds strays or hedgehogs speak with them If there are places cats hang around and especially where there is a strong smell of wee ( the stink), look there and also check allotments and unused garages and buildings and industrial areas....you absolutely NEED to widen your search...cats can travel many miles and end up lost and far away from home

Give all details of your cat to the local postal sorting office and also to your own postman/postwoman. Posties are great as they go everywhere and see all. Good luck 🐈‍⬛
