Message from Owner

Please if you have seen Lionel near Madrona Park in NE Tacoma let me know, most likely to be in the neighborhoods around 67th Ave NE, 21st st NE, 22nd st ct NE, and 21st st NE. We believe he hasn’t gone very far and is probably hiding in shade during the day and coming out when the sun goes down. He has been seen throughout backyards in the area, so please keep an eye out!! Look under your porches, inside sheds or underneath other things where a cat would hang out. He’s never been outside before and can’t hunt because of his bad front leg. It’s been so hot outside and I’m worried sick about him, please look around and call for him if you have just 5 minutes of spare time. He is very friendly and loves head pets, will most likely let you pet him and pick him up. If you see him please grab him and don’t leave him outside, and I will come get him at ANY time. There have been coyotes in the area and I think he is too friendly and naive to run from predators. Please help me find my baby. Thank you

Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas

Put some more flyers on porches today, these are all the houses I’ve hit. Unfortunately yesterday somebody texted me saying the found Lionel and got the whole family excited, only to end up asking for money “in order to return your cat” We didn’t fall for the scam, but my heart goes out to people to do fall for it. It’s disgusting to play on people’s emotions like that and I’m sure a lot of people have fallen victim to this scam. Still hoping someone does actually find him 💜
