Message from Owner

Evie has been missing since September 8th and we have been nonstop searching for her since then. We think someone might’ve stolen her after she ran out of our hse because she had an AirTag on her collar and the signals were sent from an area about 10 minutes away from where I live. We also think the person might’ve let Evie escape or possibly left her in that area after they found out we were tracking Evie. Today, September 13th, at 11:43, we found her collar on the ground with no sign of Evie. It has been raining quite a bit this past week so she might be dirty or muddy.

Hopefully, you notified Nebraska Humane Society right away and filed a lost report. Also hopkng she is microchipped and spayed. Post on Lost Pets of Omaha Area for many more readers and services. Put some of owner’s dirty clothing in yard and in garage with water and bed. Leave door open enough she can get in. If no garage, put items near house door she uses. Search in, under, behind every possible place and could be hiding, stuck or hurt. Ask neighbors to check sheds, garages so not shut in. Also ask permission to search yards…window wells, trees, bushes, weedy wooded areas, flower beds, empty containers, boxes, decks, outdoor furniture. After dark search with flashlights, so you see eyes shine. Be sure to search storm drains/street gutters. Cats often hide there for safety and shelter. Walk area lost with water and favorite food/ treats or try tuna or sardines. Call her name in a calm, friendly voice as you search.
