He may be an in/out cat who was .. out. Or, He could be lost or surviving in his own. If he isn’t sick or injured - he may be - fine. Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may be out looking for their cat.😕 File a FOUND report with Toronto/other Animal Services & rescues in case their owner goes there looking for him. Also post on neighbourhood social media sites. Make sure you don’t just hand him over to anyone - they should have other photos of him Etc to prove ownership. Take the cat to be scanned for a microchip at a vet tomorrow (free service) to try and find his owner. The vet may even know of him! Keep safe until you find his owner.🥰 Or, let him be so he can go home on his own and keep an eye out for him in future.

Dana Boettger this one chose me, I was on my end of day walk and he followed me right up to my front door. I sat on my steps and this little one came right up to me and sat in my lap. It was clear something wasn’t usual because there was no collar and it was shaky once it was sitting with me. We stayed on the porch for a bit and then I cleaned it up and brought him/her inside. It was very quick that it passed out and had a long sleep! I hope today we can reunite with its family! We shall see
