Susan Pulcini some cats run away when dying or sick or.if someone in the house is dying. my cat never ventured out and ran out a month ago. no sightings at all her sister just got diagnosed as having kidney cancer... Its heart breaking.

Rod Swikehardt my cat is strictly indoors but she managed to get out when i let my dogs out and they came back in and i was on her heels and lost sight of her. She never did this in almost 13 yrs. I think she rN away because her sister is sick... its been a month and no sightings.

Susan Pulcini That's why I have a breakaway collar. If they get it caught on something and they pull it will release they will be gone but it will release from their neck and then the air tag would be there but at least they are protected from a choking incident.
