There are a lot of Quaker parrots 🦜 on L.I. They make nests in the telephone poles which create problems. I had one for three years he landed on my priest’s shoulder when he walking on the grounds of the church so we named him Church and I was the lucky person who got him he was very tame and talked, I unfortunately had to give him to a friend who had other parrots as he became very possessive of me and anyone who came near me he would attacked as I let him roam free as it was only me and him and caged him at night. My friend still has him he’s from the Islands and worked with birds there, so he knew how to correct behavior problems.

So I’m thinking this bird really looks like Sam…it seems far for him to have flown but anything is possible. And the timing would make sense. What do you think?! No one has replied to my messages unfortunately I’ve emailed and reached on this lost post on pawboost. My parents are hopefully going to contact them tomorrow through their listed address.
