Message from Finder

adult female cat I brought this sweet stray cat indoors about a month ago during the extreme cold. She clearly has belonged to someone. I am looking for her owners or a rescue organization. She was outside and did not appear to have an owner nearby. She is currently safe inside and fully separated from my other cats. Quick details: •Adult female •Calm and friendly indoors •Eating and drinking well •Uses the litter box reliably •Enjoys people and allows petting, except her side I have noticed some mild labored breathing and a small scratch on her nose, and a hairless patch on her neck , so she may need a vet check.

She needs to go to vet for that labored breathing. Let me know if you need help with that bill.

Noticing the injury on her nose. I hope she didn't run away because she was being abused.

She was out in the cold, with slightly labored breathing have her lungs been checked for possible pneumonia or an upper respiratory infection?

If you have a secure carrier to transport in and are able, please get her scanned for a microchip, free at any vet 🙏

Thank you for helping this beautiful little soul! You can get the baby checked for a microchip for free at most vet clinics or the humane society. Please put in a safe spare room to keep away from all the dangers outside, such as bad weather, coyotes, owls, eagles, raccoons, dogs, poisons, disease, traps, cars, and bad humans! Please don't give to just anyone because there are cruel people out there that get pets for horrible reasons like dogfighting bait and other sickening things! Make sure that anyone who tries to claim the cat has absolute proof of ownership such as photos, videos and veterinarian records or receipts, and can identify specific markings, personality, voice, etc! Most healthy adult cats tolerate temperatures down to about 45-50°F (7-10°C), but prolonged exposure below 45°F (7°C) becomes risky, and freezing temperatures (32°F/0°C and below) pose serious risks like frostbite and hypothermia for any cat, especially kittens, seniors, or sick pets, requiring insulated shelter, unfrozen water, and limited outdoor time to stay safe.

God Bless those (you!) who tend and provide a safe warm haven for animals in need - ask for proof positive of ownership (vet info, photos) 💪🏻❤️🙏
