Tonight after 10 PM, go out in your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard quietly, calling your cat’s name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you see your cat. Print flyers with your cat picture and your contact name and take around to neighbors. Ask them to call you if they see your cat. Ask them if they’ve been in their shed since the cat was missing. A cat will go into a shed because it’s dark and seems safe and then get locked in when the owner closes the door. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out of the shed unless you’re standing right next to it. File a missing cap report with your city animal shelter. Look under porches, decks and and under houses with an open crawlspace. But the cat is chipped. Make sure your contact information is current.
