Debbie McIntosh, I haven't heard from you so I was hopeful you'd recovered Dude by now. How do you think he escaped the fence, or could he be hiding or unwell somewhere within the five acres (that's a lot of ground to cover). You suspect someone took him, but how? Are you suggesting someone came into your property? If Dude escaped he would be too scared to approach a stranger. And if he got outside the fence on his own he would have to get back inside somehow in order to return -- have you cracked open the gate at night to give him another method to return? Did you implement the strategy I shared? If so, can you think of any reason Dude did not return (stray cats, critters, or people outside after dark, noise or commotion, objects set in his path, etc.)? If you can describe what's happened since we last communicated I will provide some strategies that may help.
