Carol May You can't go by the picture because it could have a medical condition or it could just be its old age. You don't know that it's not under vet care.

Please have scanned for a microchip. Any vet will do it for free, including the emergency vets currently open. While s/he looks skinny, please know that its definitely an older dog and they lose muscle mass quickly, no matter how much they eat. So no one should jump to conclusions.

Thank you for helping it! These are things I’ve found to help in the past: If you can get it to a vet or a pet store, they can scan for a chip. Post on nextdoor and the neighors app (ring doorbell app, but you can join without a ring doorbell ). File a found report with animal control (311). If you found it close to another county, report it to both county’s animal control. This is the New website for Orange County animal services lost and found. You can report it here, and search reported lost dogs too: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/de730145e91342c8aba50e90676b9572/ Also file a report on petFBI (.com), lostdogsFlorida (.org), 24petconnect (.com), petcolove (.org), and monitor Craigslist. Post signs around your area.
