Cheetah is the last kitten from his father who was a feral male that was sooo torn up it was scary! He was blind in one eye, deaf in one ear and had only part of the deaf ear …I rescued & socialized, him, got him neutered, (but not before he got his girlfriend pregnant and she had 3 kittens) his shots and brought him inside and he became a hse cat. He was incredibly gentle and was not afraid of me at all. He apparently had never been played with cause he was scared of the toys . I knew he’d turned the corner when I saw him playing with a fuzzy toy, batting it around and when he jumped into bed with me and fell asleep . I asked my vet if she thought he’d been hit by a car because they also found his jaw had been totally broken from front to back …. But she said “ amazingly it’s healed as well as we could wire it back together … but my vet said to have this much damage, if a car had hit this hard, he would have . No…. Someone hit him probably with a bat or a shovel …. But something hard and solid . This as intentional . Do I have him the one thing he’d never had…. Love and a warm bed and always good food and clean water. He 2 years later from a “ spinal stroke ! He was sooo good with his three kittens . One disappeared, the one female at 4 months old got a high fever and my vet was to see her the next day but she in my arms . So Cheetah is the last of my Thor’s kittens and I was working on making Cheetah a hse cat when he suddenly disappeared… along with his buddy Inca another male I was socializing who is a chunky ALL black sweetie . They were BOTH very leary of any people except me. Why would anyone take these healthy, well cared for young cats ??? WHY. If Animal Control took them …. Shame on them . My heart is broken not seeing them each day looking at me, telling me it’s time of food and then some love. Please find my soft furry babies … PLEASE 💔
