Friendly black lab, black collar no tags, no chip

This dog was in the middle of Holden rd and I opened my car door to try and help and he jumped right in. I took him to an emergency vet on friendly ave to be scanned for a chip and they couldn’t locate one. I ended up taking him to the police department off swing rd and they took him in. He was VERY calm and friendly. Beautiful coat and healthy weight! Please reach out if you think this is your dog!

Please check on Petfinder. com, petharbor. com, Petco. com, Craigslist. Please report to shelter. Please post on Nextdoor. com, and make a Pawboost. com post. Have scanned for microchip. Animals cannot be legally rehomed until required stray hold time is satisfied…your local shelter has required hold time information. This strayhold usually begins with notification to the shelter and pawboost posts. There are skilled and disguised individuals who troll public sites for easy handovers for very nefarious purposes . Please require proof of ownership through photos, and vet records before releasing to anyone except the shelter. Reputable Rescue is first choice. Thank you for keeping this pup safe!!!
