Message from Owner

This little sweetie pie has been missing since Tuesday! She’s super sweet, kind and cuddly. She loves to follow her neighbourhood friend/cat - and orange tabby. She had a collar on her with her name and my phone number on it.

PLEASE READ. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. IF I HAD KNOWN THESE TIPS I WOULD HAVE MY FUR BABY BACK NOW! Go out looking for kitty. Start searching immediately. Don’t wait for him/her to come home on their own. Kitty is likely close by, may be scared and hiding. Take a can of tuna or smelly cat food with you or kitty’s favourite treats. Look under neighbours decks or steps but don’t give up. So many dangers out there such as coyotes, owls and not so nice humans. Kitty is counting on you. And...this is so IMPORTANT ....!!! If you don’t find kitty today, go out late tonight when it’s quiet and calm around midnight or later and sit on your front steps or back steps and talk out loud softly and say his/her name over and over like you are reading a story book. Be patient it may take some time and more than one night but if kitty is close s/he will hear your voice and come out of hiding. This has worked for me a couple of times. Also leave a window or garage door open so they can get back in when they come back. You can get an inexpensive exterior camera from Amazon for approximately $30. Set it up and monitor, especially at night. Kitties move around very late at night when all is dark and quiet. That’s when they feel safest to move around. Good luck. Hope your fur baby makes it home soon. Don’t give up.

Check with neighbours kitty could be hiding in someone’s yard or someone could be looking after kitty keeping kitty safe if you don’t feel comfortable talking to neighbours make up some flyers with Kitty’s picture contact putting a report to 311 check with some vets in the area and even the 24 hour vets if kitty has ID they will contact you put out some food in the yard and something that Kitty likes to lay on and monitor it so other animals don’t try to get to it. This has worked for many people do it at different times of the day and night. Keep checking at night early morning. If kitty is coming back in the yard these are all things that have help people. I hope kitty comes home soon.
