Description

My sweet girl Wanda was lost 05/25/2026 at Dockweiler RV Park, and possibly seen 05/26, 05/31 - 06/02/2026, 06/19, 06/25, and 06/29 in El Segundo, mostly West of Main. We have lived in Westchester for almost 3 years. Wanda has strong survival instincts and has likely reverted back to her street cat nature like she had when I first rescued her in 2020. She MUST BE TRAPPED AT THIS POINT. I have been working on finding her for 3 months, sought the advice of experts, so I understand what must be done at this point. Thank you for your help!

Message from Owner

Wanda and I just started going camping, and I had a cat door installed but I messed up the programming. I believe she went out between 4 - 5 AM Monday May 25th without the ability to come back in due to my lack of diligence. She is an ex-street cat with strong survival instincts but it has been 2 nights now. I'm really hoping coyotes did not get her. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Check with neighbors might have got locked inside garage etc, hiding under cars or houses near by. Bring favorite treats / a can of tuna late in the day and call out, kitties hide when scared. Hope you find your fur baby!! Also if you have a double fence check in between, someone found their fur baby and it was too late. 😔 Try putting out clothes with your scent or their bed. A lot of people have found their kittie early am / between 12 and 3. Maybe a good idea if kittie is an indoor / outdoor cat, to keep indoors due to Coyotes on the hunt day and night. **Someone just found a fur baby that was locked inside a shed for days. So do ask neighbors who have sheds.**

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
