I’m posting this on behalf of my parents in Sapulpa. Big Boy got out of the yard a few days ago during the rain and ran off into the woods behind the home. Big boy had been recently groomed so his hair is a bit shorter than the picture shows. When he ran off he had on a purple gentle leader and a grey/green leash. He is super sweet. Loves to play and snuggle. He is used to being around other dogs, cats, and livestock. Please let me know if you’ve seen him. He is such a great boy and want to see him safely home.

Place some recently worn dirty clothes outside like on your porch. They can follow your scent to help them get back home. This is a method hunters use to gather their hunting dogs that stray from the pack. Suggest you post on Nextdoor App & check all area city/county shelters frequently.

I hope you’re able to thoroughly check the wooded area. With him dragging a leash the concern is that he could have gotten caught on something and not able to free himself.
