My cat Stella has been missing since we think last night- she’s an inside only cat. We live in the James City area of New Bern - she sometimes gets out the door and this time we didn’t notice. (sometime last night) and she hasn’t come 💔😕 she’s a medium long haired cat, she’s microchipped and has a black collar on with silver moons and stars around it - she’s not super social- she’s very timid. Mildly overweight- 4yrs old. I live off Commons Ct in James City part of New Bern, NC (off Rivershore) - if anyone lives near and sees her- please let me know! My kids and I are so sad 😔 please message me if you see her and where!

She's not far if she's strictly an indoor cat, probably within a 3-5 house radius. She hears you calling but is in survival mode from predators. Do you have any trail cams? If you do, set them out & make food trails to her food with mackerel juice. When sighted on the camera, you can trap her if need be. Make some neon posters & flyers, & put them out in your neighborhood, post on all socials & actively search. Do not put her litter box out because it can attract predators (coyotes, etc.). I hired a tracker last summer when my indoor cat, Milo was displaced last summer for 32 days through July/August of last year. He had a seizure & I was taking him to the vet. His crate broke before I got him in my car & he bolted to the woods behind my house. We had no sightings for 31 days & I trapped him on that last day. Don't ever give up! Praying you get your baby girl back. She is beautiful!
