SCARLETT HAS BEEN FOUND!!! ❤️🙏🐾 God is so good! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and can finally say that Scarlett is HOME!!! This amazing family found her on Saturday. Yesterday, we had just started putting up flyers, and the mom happened to see one—but it had been torn in half and only showed Scarlett’s picture. A little farther down the sidewalk, she found the bottom half of the flyer with my contact information. They told me that if they couldn’t find her owner today, they were going to put up flyers themselves. Tell me that isn’t God answering prayers. 🙏❤️ After all the worry, praying, searching, sharing, and hoping, God brought her to an amazing family who cared enough to keep her safe and then made the effort to find me. I am beyond thankful to everyone who prayed for Scarlett, shared her posts, looked for her, reached out, and kept believing with me. Every message, phone call, prayer, and act of kindness meant more than you will ever know. My heart is so full right now. God heard our prayers and brought my sweet Scarlett home. ❤️🐾🙏 SCARLETT IS HOME!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Post to Nextdoor Check shelter website 24petconnect .com City of San Jose Animal Care & Services Help your pet smell their way home ~ take an unwashed article of the OWNER’S clothing (socks, sheet, underwear) and hang it in a tree, on a fence, a pole or edge of roof and put an article of unwashed clothing on the ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag and hang it high. Open your gates and/or the garage door, and turn on all the lights. Put a rug or towel on the porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent as they don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Put up flyers with large photo of your dog with legible phone number.

Was Scarlett left an unattended in yard? Assuming is a backyard, are there any holes in the fence? Small dogs have been caught by birds of pray lately, praying is not the case for her. Ask neighbors to check security cameras footage to see if something useful was caught on video. She could also be hiding somewhere nearby, place lots of unwashed items of clothing with strong familiar scent outside your front door are and hanging from a tree to attract her back home leaving garage door slightly open. Post on Nexdoor and Ring. Report to shelter as lost and check in person. Hang flyers all over. Check with homeless people some like to keep stray dogs others will help find. If chipped call chip company. Hope pup is found safe soon.
