Call Babs Fry 619-249-2221. People call her when they have lost their dog or found a dog that is lost. The owner may have called her. She also catches dogs without scaring them. She is FREE but takes donations to support her work.

Call SD Humane Society at 619-299-7012 and press 1 to connect with the after hours Humane Law Enforcement. They can send someone out to bring the dog in, especially if you still have eyes on him. If possible, secure the dog without scaring it off, example closing a gate if he's in a gated yard or putting a slip lead on if he's really chill and friendly, but if not possible try not to cause him to flee and let them know where exactly he is. It would be best if this pup is inside for the night as there are many coyotes about and it will be even hotter tomorrow. Thank you for caring.
