Found roaming the neighborhood appears to be an older chocolate lab. Appears to have been outside for a while also. Very friendly.

Please bring him inside and give him water before he has heat stroke. Please post him in your county shelter app. as “found.” Also, post him in the Nextdoor app. Alert police. Insist on proof of ownership- terrible dog fighters out there that try to claim found dogs and use them as bait for dog fighting rings until they die from their infected wounds.

Post on Nextdoor also, report found dog to county animal services, check for a microchip, require claimant for proof of ownership; vet records, call vet to confirm, lots of photos. Lucky dog you rescued him/her and they are safe, ty!
