Found/Stray Dog in Las Vegas, NV 89142

Description

Grey pitbull, 70lbs, female, short floppy ears, light brown eyes, patch of white hair on chest, no scars or injuries, clean teeth, 2 years old (based off teeth), found without collar, vet detected no chip. Found outside on 6/28/2026.

Hi everyone! We found this poor girl timid and weak in 100 degree Las Vegas heat. She was in the only patch of grass in shade in the whole neighborhood. We found her in the yard of the hse where my grandpa was moving out of, she’d been there for hours before we got there. No signs of owners. The side of Las Vegas we found her in are known to have strays. We took her in and got her hydrated and fed. Before, her tail was all the way under her like she was scared, she didn’t want to get up, eat or drink, when she did finally drink she threw up yellowish water. Probably from drinking too fast with no food in her system. We took her in for the night, it being Sunday all vets were closed we will take her in the morning to see if she’s chipped. She’s a sweet sweet girl. Never growled at us when we pet, picked her up, gave her a bath, or put her in the car. She’s feeling better, her tail wags now. We’ve taken in 2 rescues in the past 3 years; the one rescue we’ve had for a year now that was from the street, seems like they’re not getting along with this new pitbull too well. We will foster her until we find her owners. Please help us find them or a potential new home!
