Message from Owner

LOST PET My orange tabby cat got out of the hse. She never escaped before so I’m worried sick about about. She was last seen around 9:44am. She’s microchipped and was wearing a pink gingham collar. She is declawed. Defining features are freckles on her nose Her name is Bologna and she weighs about 11.8lb. She is shy but does responds to her name and whistles

This is Indy Pets: lost & found Please try these tips: Set litter box (please stir the litter box with a stick to get the scent into the air more) and or a dirty fabric item/blankets, cat bed, with your homes scent outside your door, (or location lost from) along with food/ water covered from weather: Cats can pick up these scents 1-2 miles from home. Also look under all nearby bushes sheds decks cars. Indoor cats don’t typically roam too far from their homes! As well check closed doors, closets, and hiding places behind appliances and furniture in your home. 🙏💕🐱 Be sure to post as lost on IndyLostPetAlert.com, and or the Next Door app & Neighbors RING app & shelters in your area. Post flyers if no return within 24 hours . 24petconnect.com Be sure to check with shelters in your area as well. Prayers for a safe return home 🐾💕🐱

Please check under bushes/porches/decks/sheds and inside garages and sheds and other places she may be hiding and ask your neighbors to do the same. Many indoor cats will hide once they are outside and come out at night when things settle down and get quiet. If you have security cameras, check those to see if she is on them and again ask your neighbors to do the same. If she is microchipped be sure your contact info is current with the chip company. Microchips are the best way to ensure your lost pet gets home but they only work if your contact info on file with the chip company is current so they can let you know if someone has found her and had her scanned. I do hope she gets back home safe and soon. She is very pretty and has a cute name.
