Message from Owner

In search of family who adopted my sweet pitbull girl from Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire on August 21st 2026 I am a Navy veteran who just completed my service and currently settling in my new home. My dog was placed under my mom’s care while I was out to sea and completing my service. Days before she ended up at the shelter, my mom came home to find her missing from the backyard and had since called and went to shelters (including the one you adopted her from) in the area looking for her, leaving her contact information, and putting up signs. Only as of this morning (Sep. 29) did I finally see her picture via a Facebook post for lost/found pets and contacted them immediately. Unfortunately, it is the same shelter my mom went by where they had previously informed her that no dog with my dog’s description was there, twice. I understand that you adopted her to give a dog a loving home and I am so grateful for you taking care of her. With heavy heart, I humbly ask that you would consider returning her to me so she can be reunited with her family. Her mom is my mother’s dog and she has been in our family for many years, my dog is from her only litter. If you do, I know you will have the chance to save another wonderful dog at the shelter who has no one looking for them. I truly would be deeply and eternally grateful to you for giving me my family back after my time in service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this. Please contact me at or my mother at if you are willing to talk.
