I agree 100%! I try to take problems and turn them into opportunities. WANNA HELP SAVE A LIFE? I am looking for is for someone within my community or nearby the Monaco section of Kings Point to come about 10:30 PM for about 30 minutes. I will also be there and familiarize him with us so this boy or girl will become friendly enough to perhaps trap her or get a hold of her and rehome her. I cannot do it alone. I am disabled. I CAN gain his trust. My friends in NJ used to call me "The Cat Whisperer". AND GUESS WHAT? SHE SHOWED UP ABOUT 10:30 LAST NIGHT when she heard me in the Monaco parking lot between buildings F and G! I appreciate all your suggestions and concerns. Let's face it, if I didn't LOVE animals (especially cats!) I wouldn't be doing this. There's just something about him. I swear, if he could talk he'd ask me to help him find a home. It's only been 2days since our first encounter and he follows me. He sits 15 feet away when I stop, turn, and talk to him. Please understand, I simply cannot bring him inside. I just can't chance it. My girl was abused and neglected the first 8 months of her life and is therefore not very trusting. She is with me now near four years. A lot of patience and work on both our parts has turned her into a great kitty. So I can only do the next best thing: last two nights I go out about 10:30 to 11:00 at night and I leave a plate of food and he does come. From where I'm not sure. But he does eat the food outside my patio window. Then I put a small bowl of spring water outside and he drinks from that. He's spoiled. She is definitely a cutie and I can tell from her mannerisms that she really wants to be in a home. It's just for not be fair of me to take on another cat. I fully expect him again tonight. I KNOW it won't take long to catch him. WON'T SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS AND LOVES CATS COME SIT WITH ME AND MAKE FRIENDS WITH THIS LITTLE GUY (GIRL?) AND FIND HER A HOME? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DM ME! TY
