Here are a few tips that may help you find your lost dog. Not all May apply.
hang the pjs you slept in last night or something that smells like you on your porch or carport.
walk around leaving you scent. They will search for it.
Check with groomers, vets, shelters, your postman, neighbors and delivery people.
put a large sign in your yard with your contact info. Put out flyers (even handwritten) on front doors, near mailboxes, and on porches.
if you feel safe, knock on doors, when you say their name say it loud and happy, they could be there. You never know. When they hear your voice they will whine, bark or scratch to let you know they hear you.
walk the area they were last in,to make sure they aren’t caught in brush, behind a closed door, or hung on something they tried to go under around or over.
Contact search and rescue groups in your area they can be a lot of help. Anakin’s Trails Trapping
post on all sights in your area to let people know your pup is lost.
and lastly. Don’t give up. Unless picked up they don’t usually go far. They will hide and seek shelter, refuge, and comfort on porches, decks, garages, carports, culverts, abandoned buildings, and buildings with opened doors. Prayers you find you pup
