First put out a big bowl of water IMMEDIATELY. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them. Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!

General missing kitty Post to Both Community Specific Apps - Nextdoor and Neighbors Ring using the closest address to where your kitty went missing for the apps themselves. More people in your particular area will see your posts. 💔 Report on-line as missing to your local shelters💔 Your kitty is probably nearby. A spooked cat may not respond to their owners voice.💔 Search as LATE in the night as you can or just before dawn (1-2 people only). Use a flashlight to check under bushes and cars and high up in trees. 💔 Take some dry food in a Tupperware and shake while calling for kitty calmly.💔 Also take a can of wet fishy smelling food or the tuna with you. If you spot her, crack open the can and sit on the ground. No sudden moves 💔 Check blocks behind you. Cats will often travel through yards and end up on the other side. Do the same for the residences in front of you and the one behind them.💔 🛑🛑🛑 Important 🛑🛑🛑Don’t forget to leave your contact info with anyone you speak with, just in case they spot your kitty after you’ve spoken💔
