Message from Owner

Contact: We’re so sad our baby is missing. We rescued her off the side of the road in 2019 as a very tiny kitten that needed medical attention. Someone dumped a litter of cats with the momma and she’s the only one that didn’t run from us. Her left ear is tipped because my friend that owns a TNR took her to have her fixed for me with her group of TNR feral strays after she had her own first and only litter. From that litter we kept our Snowbear that looks just like her momma Zima. Please help us find Snows Momma. We all miss her.

Alia Jade Sutton I am sorry, cats can stay hidden for a few days or more. Do not leave food out unless it is inside a trap. It sounds like you are doing everything right. Post on your local neighborhood site like Nextdoor. Ask neighbors to check their out buildings. Get a humane trap asap. Good luck !

Amy Dillon I left my garage cracked for two or three days and I’ve went outside and shook her food and called her name. Left out chicken for her and it sat untouched for two days until a dog came and got it on day 3. I have cams on my front door and garage now but that just happened two days ago. Went walking, driving, checking ditches. Still no sign of her. Hopefully she comes home soon.

Alia Jade Sutton can you leave a door cracked open? Cats tend to come back when it is dark and quiet. Put scent articles of yours outside. Do not put food or litter box outside it can attract predators and you want her hungry. Do not call her but go outside sit down and listen and talk softly to yourself. Ask neighbors to check all out buildings. Take a flashlight and look for her eyes under bushes, cars, and up in trees. Indoor cats will usually hunker down and stay put until they feel safe which can be a few days. She is probably very close by hiding it is your job to draw her out. Borrow a humane trap and bait it with chopped sardines or KFC chicken. You can get one from Paws, Animal Control, Community Cat Coalition, or from someone on here. You can get a cheap trail cam or security cam. Beware of anyone asking for money or codes claiming to have her. Also if someone mentions Instagram or Facebook and drones it is a scam. This has worked for me, contain other pets and step outside. Open her canned food and shake treats. If she is nearby she will hear it. Then place food inside across the room from the cracked open door. Wait for her to come in and when she does slowly walk across room and close the door. Good luck and keep us updated. ❤️🐱❤️

Amy Dillon she is strictly indoor and she is not chipped. However she was indoor outdoor from 2019 to January 2021 back when we lived back home in Tennessee. We moved to Virginia and never let her get out and moved here in September. Never even noticed her getting out, into the garage, or however she left. Usually she runs over my feet to get into the garage and I see her so I know to be cautious. This time I swear it’s like I woke up with her last Tuesday morning and then she just vanished.
